Seattle has fabulous temptations and attractions to see and experience, however, not everyone has the luxury of time. Some travelers need to fly in, rest up at a hotel, then catch the ship at Bell Street Pier 66 or Smith Cove Cruise Terminal Pier 91. So, here are several pre and post Alaska cruise hotels near SeaTac (Seattle Airport).
The best places to stay have cruise ship transportation to or from the pier, as part of a package, so the traveler doesn't have to sweat the details.
Alaska Cruise Hotel near Seattle Airport – Hilton Garden Inn
Hilton Garden Inn is a typical suburban business hotel about 6 miles from the airport. (Usually about 10 minutes away.) For travelers somewhat familiar with the area, Hotel Garden Inn is in the business park near Southcenter. This is an area good for sleeping, but with no tourist activities. Online reviews are good. The following two packages accommodate up to 3 people in one room for one night (pre- or post-cruise) and include a hot breakfast buffet.

Pre- and Post- Alaska Cruise Ship Hotel – Hilton Seattle Airport Hotel
This hotel is right next to the airport and has good online reviews, the one exception being that their restaurant is expensive. One poster on a hotel review website recommended taking their free shuttle to eat at Southcenter Mall. Another idea is to go to a cool Seattle area fave, 13 Coins. It's open 24 hours a day, and Joe's Special (an egg dish) is always good for after hours munchies.
